This Is What We Know Thus Far

http://www.kidney.niddk.nih.gov/kudiseases/pubs/vesicoureteralreflux/

Today Crickles had the first two tests that are listed on the list at this linked site.  He may have, most likely, the primary condition.

He is on antibiotics and tomorrow I must call to make an appointment at the clinic with his primary doctor to get another referral to make an appointment with Pediatric Urology.

We will "go" from there and amass as much information as we can to get this condition treated.

But, you know, when I read that about it going into and damaging the kidneys (renal failure issues), I just THANK GOD that even though Walter Reed did not pursue this and they have here at Tripler that (excuse me as I let out my mommy tears) none of those awful things had come to pass.

God is so good.

You are all in many people's prayers here..including mine. Glad you had this all investigated and that he is on the antibiotics. Lord Jesus, we pray for the meds he is taking and for the doctors to know what all they are called to do to treat this properly. Thank you for helping his family know the steps they need to take. You are so good, Lord! Amen.

Sarah, may the Lord bless your son and give him healing. May you find a good, wise doctor to advise you when needed. One of my kids had to go through some of these tests, so I sympathize.

Hang in there, mama! {hugs}

I'm glad that the docs at Tripler are working to find out what is going on, Sarah. Your dear son is in my prayers, and so are you and the doctors who will be caring for him. It's always so hard when our children have medical problems.
