It's going to be a long weekend.
Crickles has a friend coming over to stay over.
Tomorrow evening Chief and I have an Open House to attend at the Captain's House. Fortunately, we can walk there. And, it's semi-formal/casual.
I'm sure I'll squeeze in some Self-Checkout stops throughout . . . dern it!!!

You too...we are going out tomorrow night to the Crisis Pregnancy Center/Hannah House Maternity Home Christmas Gala Dinner...it is really nice and I get to be with pro-life folks all in one big room....everyone is of like mind in the area of babies! :) That is a cause for celebration alone!
So, has it turned out to be a long weekend? I hope your semi-formal/casual event does not have the results mine did years ago when I attended a business/casual professor's evening get-together while visiting my daughter at the University of Illinois. I ran out right before the event to buy the proper attire since I had come with only play clothes. It turns out, though, that what I bought (so pink, so soft, so seemingly perfectly causal) were pajamas. I got a lot of smiles and just thought people were friendly until, when I came back, my daughter was scandalized. Enjoy your casual evening -- in something other than pajamas!
