I'll upload pictures later, but I'm actually going to try making the Artisan Bread today. Right after I sign off here (after having caught up with the blogs I follow). Phew! Thank you to Mimi and Kalona for the links - really super helpful and I think this recipe may increase my confidence! I haven't made my own bread since my high school years. I know I can do it, it's just funny. I guess I feel like a pioneer of sorts! A pioneer in Hawaii. Woot woot!
I'm half way through Jane Austen's "Mansfield Park". I think I read this back when I bought it in 1999, because some of it seems super familiar . . . but because I have lost most the book to a distant memory, I'm glad I've begun to read it again. It is my way of gearing up to read "Emma".
