Uff Da

I rose from bed quite late this morning. I was up at 4 with Chief (he had some early morning meeting) and then returned to my bed. I have a few things I need to take care of today, but I'm just tired, you know? I can't get motivated just yet. I need to call the high school . . . we received SB's final report card and he did, indeed, fail the second semester of algebra (which will likely change things in his registration for classes). I need to call a company regarding the purchase of this laptop. I need to box up my sisters birthday present and get it mailed out today.

I know. It's not so much to do, it's the getting started.

I finished reading a children's book yesterday. It was good, but constantly reminded me of our current administration's way of running things and 1984 and other such novels, I thought it was more depressing than anything else. The Mysterious Benedict Society. Apparently, there are two more books available. I won't be getting them unless one of my kids likes this one. I'm doubting that, but you never know.

Now, I'm going to take a few days and read about Father Damien.

Anyone else having issues with Blogger and their computers running slow? That's a bother today.

I know that feeling. I am just so tired today and it takes every ounce of energy to keep my youngest occupied.

Blogger has been really really annoying. I am having the same issue as well as quirky things like the font not staying where it should and the like.

I get the blahs and then I don't want to do anything either! Just like today, I know I need to knit on the baby afghan but just cannot get to it...It won't knit itself, ya know. Drat!!!! Maybe tomorrow!

I've not had much of a problem with blogger of late...Cathy

Dawn - go stuff your gob with them cookies from teh Honolulu cookie co. yeah, I know, try stopping!! :) I know, I did get off and just got back. I fixed the stuff with the high school over the phone, tried to call the laptop folks (Chief will have to deal w/ it as it's in his name . . . ahem), and I sent my sisters box out. I even got Crickles three shorts for school (khaki policy; no cargos) from Old Navy (I was just pleased to find his size). And, I got that book for the winner (here) and will mail it tomorrow. When I finally get going, I do alright. But, you know me: complain and procrastinate first. :)

Blogger's fine for me today - and get some sleep. You don't want to wander around in a daze and fling yourself through that awfully high window, now, do ya? I didn't think so!

Oh boy, I know how your feeling.. really not much on my "to do" list but at the same time those few things seem to be taking me so long to get done.. I don't know what it is.. we have had really weird weather, one day so hot and the next very cold.. I have always felt that this really played a huge role in my moods when the temp goes up and down so quickly.. (or I would like to tell myself that this is my problem;)
