I Didn't Forget . . .

. . . and time is getting on, in'it?

Back in December of last year (the 9th, to be precise), I put out a feeler for the Pay It Forward. The winners of something handmade by my lazy arse (within a year) are: Erika (a long time friend of mine; got your address), Therese (of Musings of a Mom; need your address), and Kissteen (Christine of Meet Me at the Gates;have your address). I just wanted to update you all (in case you forgot or are on the long road to thinking you should start forgiving me for not following through as quickly as I ought). . .

. . . I've not forgotten. Isn't that lovely?

In fact, I went to Ben Franklin's today (a craft shop) to get me started on one project. I will be visiting a fabric store this week that sells Hawaiian print cotton fabrics . . . for maybe a few projects. I don't know where any of it will lead me but to a certain finish on three things made by me for you. I hope you don't mind waiting just a bit longer.

Just sayin' I'll be busy with some projects and eventually moving in to our place and getting settled again and then more project working. I'm officially "on it".

Glad to hear that I am not the only one who put it off. I'm wondering how my people would feel about strawberry jam I canned...becuase I can't seem to find time to craft.

Therese - sounds good. I'll keep my eye out on my email then. Thanks!

E - well, if I were to get some home made strawberry jam, I would be grateful. You have your hands quite full enough and I am impressed you even do that! I was so lazy - over the top lazy - when mine were as little as yours. So. I think canning is a craft not many do these days . . . two thumbs up for that idea. If you feel like it's not enough, bake a loaf of your delish bread to go with it (if your folks are local) or send tea. :)

Kissteen - you still have your blog post from the pay it forward, you just have to find it (probably in Dec. or Jan.) and figure out who they are. You are a crafty gal, but you can get your kids involved. You could take pictures of something, print them up and put them in plain frames your kids paint with you. Simple. Yet, a nice thing to receive. :) I can't make things like Jenny (the link in my last post) - yet - so I have to do what I can (which to some really crafty folks, I don't even come close to being as good).
