I found this fragrance at the Navy Exchange (NEX) a few weeks ago. I love the box, but the scent is a patchouli mix so it's spicy. I like it a lot! My old stand by is Giorgio. The kids comment that they like the way I smell when I wear Gina, but Chief likes Giorgio best. He only ever comments about how lovely I smell when I wear Giorgio.
I did not think men really cared.
What is your favourite? What does your significant other prefer?

I love fake Obsession (body spray)
My husband's nose doesn't work...so he says!
I love cologne on men though, any cologne!
I don't generally wear any perfume, but I do like the Victoria's Secret Dream Angels scent. And I think I still have some from Hollister. Tells you that I don't wear it very often since I haven't shopped there since high school over 5 years ago..
Steve wears Acqua di Gio and I really love that cologne. Although I must say I prefer his natural scent. Is that weird? haha!
Your mention of patchouli reminds me of college where it was the scent of choice by the hippies. Either that or strong body odor. I'm sure your perfume smells better though! :)
I liked Opium by Yves St Laurent very much but I wore it around the time of my divorce 20 years ago and the smell still takes me back to the time. Naturally I have not worn that scent for...oh...20 years.
I also liked (as you can tell I haven't worn perfume in 15 years) White Shoulders as a teen (I have no idea why - it's an old lady smell)
Jean Nate (cuz it's lemony)
4711 Cologne by Muelhens(a German perfume that's clean and fruity but not sickenly sweet)
Fidji by Guy Laroche
L'Air du Temps by Nina Ricci (altho it never lasted on me - too flowery I guess)
I like spicy or fruity - kinda matches my personality LOL!
Lovely by Sarah Jessica Parker. Before I came across it, I hadn't worn any perfume in years. If they stop making it, I'll be in trouble!
Michael Kors. Love it.
The only thing I've worn in probably 40 years is Clinque Aromatics. I have strangers comment on a daily basis on how good I smell...
Like Angela I do love Opium but it is way too expensive to wear. Aromatics just needs a teeny little squirt.
And really - you can't beat Chanel #5
Fendi by Fendi - that's the one my husband prefers (he just tested them all because I asked him - now he smells like a perfume factory). Fendi (prounounced "FUN di" apparently) was the one I was wearing when I met Rob too - but now, I'm partial to "Aromatics Elixer" by Clinque. But I LOVE patchouli. Rob doesn't though - I think he thinks it smells like hippies or something....
Merry Christmas Sarah!
My husband is not a fan of perfume at all. He tolerates it. He prefers the smell of....get this...soap!
My favorite is Velocity (it's from Mary Kay)...and I also love TOVA (you can get it through QVC).
Otherwise...I stick with the Bath & Body Works Cucumber & Pear frangrance.
I don't do perfume anymore...I quit wearing it and incredibly, I quit taking advil ALL the time. And I have become one of those nasty women that look away and cough in disgust when people wear too much of it! (Okay, I might splash a tiny amout of Clinique happy or shi on if I go out for a special occasion.
i am so fond of patchouli.
it reminds me of my mama.
it is her signature scent.
me, i am slowly going through a bottle of ralph lauren's romance.
i prefer reaction by kenneth cole. i was never more complimented than when i wore reaction. even though it is a men's cologne. which my husband swears smells like women's perfume.
his favorite is tommy bahamas.
i like it when he smells good. and he always compliments me when i do.
right now we are sharing twilight woods lotion from bath and body works. he likes the musky scent. i still smile when he comes out of the bathroom smelling like something called twilight woods. he is such a manly man.
i do like the bottle of that one you've got there and might give it a try next time i need a new fragrance. i like to change things up a bit in the summer. but who knows as it seems that for some reason that romance is lasting forever!
this was such a nice light-hearted topic.
:)
ps. i like your new look.
red is my FAVORITE color.
those look sort of like cherry blossoms. so cute.
Elizabeth Taylor had a scent out: Diamonds & Emeralds. My hubby loved that one. But they quit making it. It was similar to Sand & Sable but more expensive ;). Although Michael is my new fav, love that tuberose scent, here are a few of my favorites:
Sand & Sable
Rare Gold (Avon)
Poison (still love this in small amounts, I used to wear it by the bucket load)
Liz Claiborne
Burberry
Tommy Girl..hands down! ;)
Sarah-kala: Did you forget about these fragrances?
How about a post about aftershave/men's cologne's that we love and that we hate...
My fave is Oui! by Lancome and my husband's is Acqua diGio which I just love to sniff : )
