- Looking for favourite things to photograph to share with y'all.
- God-forsaking laundry (in one machine, out and into t'other over and over again)
- Paying the bills (there were only two, but took at least $600 of our money; cell and car insurance; you pick which was more). *it wasn't the cell*
- Planning the horrible, no good, dirty, rotten trip I have to take tomorrow: grocery shopping.
- Cleaning up dog poop from the back yard (and stealthily avoiding the softer stuff that came outta her end this morning - the pooch has a bug, me thinks)
- Drinking more coffee to steel my nerves, but they're actually being stolen (I'm getting the shakes).
- Waiting for my kiddos to come home from school.
- Avoiding sitting on my backside so I can do the aforementioned.
- Dreaming of this evening when I will have time to rest with my cross stitch in hand.
- Shopping for Crickles' birthday, which is next week.
This was the pig bank my paternal grandparents gave to me on my 11th birthday with $11 sticking out his slot. I have passed it down to SB.
Here are a few of my favourites: the lamp from Pier 1, the 1932 GM radio my paternal grandfather bought his mother back in 1932 and gave to me after I married Chief, and that basket that Chief bought me on our first visit to Longaberger in Ohio.
My favourite perfume. It's the only one Chief ever said, "you smell so good" to my wearing.
A rosary book that my favourite Dominican priest gave me; thanks Fr. Willoughby!
And, finally, these wee Japanese items given to Teenie from Chief's sister's mother-in-law. She's from Japan.
Have a blessed weekend!

I love the piggy bank! And if I didn't teach, I'd be looming away this evening. have a good weekend!
Have a great weekend! My favorite are the Japanese dolls. I think they look Chinese....but what do I know!!!
Ahhhh, your a Giorgio gal. One of my husbands favorite scents too although "my signature scent" is Ombre Rose.
Hope you have a nice weekend!
Love the piggy bank and the radio. Such treasures.
Dog poop is the reason I do not have a dog. Wiped enough little shi--y butts in my lifetime to cure me of ever wanting to clean up after an animal.
Good weekend to you.
Stan and I are making our first ever trip to Hawaii. We are spending the first week of 2010 on Kauai. So looking forward to it. We have friends there or Stan would have never agreed to go. I have begged for years. Not going to look a gift horse in the mouth though. I will take the trip under any pretense I can.
You've visited Longaberger?! That's cool...I have driven by, but haven't been in. I love how the building is shaped like a basket :)
Hope you had a good weekend!
Brandie - the basket building is just their "office", and, we did visit it once. We did the factory tour three times, I think. My husband's family lives in Iowa . . . it's a bit out of the way to stop by Zainesville, but not by much! ;)
