I'm Definitely Buying This

It hits shelves on the 27th of this month, from what I gathered at Amazon.com. If I can order on Amazon to get free shipping, I'll go that route, but otherwise shipping to HI is a pain in the wallet. I'd be willing just to have a copy of this. I love her blog/website. She's funny, she's real, and she's really funny! Go see Ree yourself. You'll be glad you did.

I used to go to Ree's place all the time and I think that is maybe when I discovered Kitchen Madonna..seems like it was around that time. Then I started following her blog and another rancher that she followed and lost track of this one. Isn't she amazing? Where do these people find the time to be so family like AND professional as all get out though? Jealous..that is what I get!
Ha!..Oh well..no really, I'm glad you found it and shared..I'll put her back on my favorites and I've already copied off a chicken salad recipe of hers just now! Yum!

Oh, Sarah! I have your package all ready to be mailed. I won't get to until Monday sometime, though, so I'm pretty sure you won't get this until after you birthday. There are several little things for your kids just nothing really..so if they want them fine, but I won't be offended if not. Also, the little card I found for your husband that I think will crack you up a little.. I love it..is in the white envelope and it isn't sealed in case you want to look at it privately so he doesn't see it before his birthday ..that is the only thing you don't want to just open up with him watching, perhaps. I just saw it and remember your sidebar "chief"
sign and had to get it. :) So anyways..it'll get there hopefully not too many days after your day!

Suz - you are hilarious!! Thank you in advance for the package - so unexpected and wow! very thoughtful of you!!!! I found Ree through KM, actually, so it was in reverse order for me. I stopped following her after I caught up all the posts she did and the calve nuts things kinda sent me elsewhere for a bit. But, that's what makes her so real - and I never really knew about that sort of thing - just that they do some awful pranks with them. Ahem.

Okay, I just LOVE her blog... she's a great photographer, too... and that bassett hound is the cutest. I'm going to try her Tres Leches cake next week, I think! Thanks for sharing.

Another PW fan here--love her recipes. They all seem so familiar to me; she cooks like a Texan. I'm going to buy her cookbook, too.

Suzanne, I've made that chicken salad recipe for a girl's day out luncheon, and it's delicious!

I seldom go to links, but this one intrigued me. PW is hilarious! And, I'm really quite the sucker for cookbooks. However, I'm in the mode of 'if one comes in, one must go out'. We'll have to think about it...

Thanks, Kalona! I can't wait to try it..it is a real girlfriend's lunch kind of dish, isn't it? :)
