12 ounces thin noodles, cooked and drained (angel hair, thin spaghetti, or Asian style)
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons sugar
3 to 4 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons rice vinegar
2 to 3 tablespoons pure sesame oil
1/2 teaspoon hot chile oil (more to taste) *a note here: this is plenty to give it a mild "kick" but if you want a wild arsed kick, add more. Since I am loathe to cry like a baby whilst I eat, I reckon this is the right amount.
4 to 5 tablespoons canola oil *another note: I forgot to add this? I didn't and it still rocked!!
2 tablespoons hot water
3 to 4 green onions, sliced thin
Whisk all ingredients (except noodles and green onions) together in a bowl. Taste and adjust ingredients as needed.
Pour sauce over warm noodles and toss to coat.
Sprinkle with green onions and toss.
Serve in a bowl with chopsticks. Yummy!

Let's just say, they are easy, mouth-watering delicious, to make. Just enough spice to make you eat more. I smelled the sauce while the noodles were boiling . . . and just about fell over, the smell was so powerfully wonderful. Teenie has asked me to make them for her class next Thursday (they are having a "party" in their math class). Well, over half her class is Asian of some persuasion so I'm really hoping that this recipe satisfies! I LOVE IT!!
I have pre-ordered the Pioneer Woman Cooks cookbook, which is being released October 27.

SOunds like this is going to be lunch at my house today! I'm going to grate some carrots to add, so I can feel like the boys will get some veggies.
Erika, the carrots sliced very thinly, would be great. :)
Yum! Thanks!
this sounds so yummy sarah. i do love asian food! my only problem is how salty it is!
This sounds like a recipe to pass on to my kids and even make here on the homestead.
Can't do hot or spicy myself but Michael can do it.
