Profound relief for me, since now I do not have to live with the parcels staring me down on my way in and out of here and I keep forgetting! They are all on their way!!! Hurrah!
THE KIDS ARE HOME AND I AM ALSO QUITE CHUFFED ABOUT THAT!
Where God, Family, and Country Are Everything (in proper order)
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my mother; to thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me.
Amen.Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of Thy faithful and enkindle in them the fire of Thy love.
V. Send forth Thy Spirit and they shall be created.
R. And Thou shalt renew the face of the earth.

awww!!! i am so excited!!!
you are the greatest.
and not just because you send me sweet snail mail AND presents.
hugs.hugs.hugs.
The sight of the little white box, knowing what's in it, is enough to make me grind my teeth and cry bitter tears of loss...Be still my beating, broken heart. It's just a little yellow pincushion. Sigh
Some day, some how, you'll find a way of - hmmmmmmmm that sounds familiar.
Lucky, lucky Kalona!
Regan, I know you'll love the goodies. One thing in particular makes me laugh and I had to include it. Thanks for your return snail mail. :)
Adrienne, I'll be doing another contest for my first year blogging anniversary soon. That's the next time I'll be doing a giveaway thing. :) Probably one with more chances to win. Sound good? If it's any consolation, I never win any of these blog giveaways. Ever. I try! *sniff sniff* I did find twenty bucks on the ground the Sunday before last so I put it in the offering. I had just been fretting about finding the money to give and there it was! God gave it to me (even if someone else's misfortune) so I gave it back. It was cool.
Looking forward to the read and a pkg. in the mail - mail is a highlight in the day (I'm just like a little kid that way).
Suzie - I so agree! I'm very childish about snail mail! I got a parcel from a dear friend yesterday (a returned book and a book she sent for me to read and return - hurrah!) and a beautiful card from another dearie, Regan. I get very giddy about it!
I'll be checking my mail box every day! Thank you, Sarah!
Adrienne, you can come visit the pin cushion (and me) any time. We still need to go to the Josephine Street Cafe for chicken fried steak ( have not forgotten). :o)
Kalona - can we bring the pincushion to dinner??? Huh, huh, huh??
Adrienne--you betcha! ;o)
