This condo is huge and vacant with them away.
I'm leaving early so I can wipe my tears with a stroll through Target (between two of the three schools) . . . looking for some pre-made cross stitch bookmarks. I can make them myself, just not as fancy in the finished edges. Oh, well, if I can't. I'll just have to pop on-line then. But, I'll look in one last local place first.
I spent the last few hours on the phone with me mum and then my sister. I feel fortified enough to tackle the world again. Once I have my chickies under my wings again, I'll go to the post office and mail out that book someone is patiently waiting for (ahem, so sorry, love) and that pin cushion (again, so sorry love). Thanks for both of your patience!! But, they'll be posted out today.

I can't believe your kids are in school already! It seems so early, what happened to summer?
By the way, I did not read the book that was mentioned in my post about The World's Largest Monstrance, but it's on my list! I let you know what I think of it after I'm through!
Is there no end to your creative talent, Sarah? I can knit and crochet and muster up some litle things, but no free hand cross stitching!
When your 'chickies' are gone...that is when you understand that silence can be deafening! And you don't even have a puppy dog to smooch on! Wish I could lend you ours as well as 3 kitties.

ah.. now you have me feeling emotional:) My kids start back to school in less than a month now and for the first time in 16 yrs I'll be "home alone" yep.. my baby is starting kindergarten!! I'm excited and nervous all at once:)
