Yesterday my youngest boy got three immunizations. I think the Hep and the Tetanus are fine, but I think he's having a slight reaction to the Meningitis. Last night he tossed his cookies and has been on the couch with a mild fever (I would guess he's hovering at about 101; I need to run out and get a thermometer). He's able to keep Motrin down (a plus!), but he's not interested in eating. We are making him sip water as much as possible.
I worry as he has a mild cough . . . that stupid swine flu has been rearing its head on the islands with over 600 cases now . . .
. . . I am not in a panic, because our bodies are resilient enough and you can only do the best you can do. And, I believe God is bigger than all of this anyway.
Still. I'd rather it be me than him.
I will announce the winner of the book tomorrow! Good luck to all! And, thanks for any and all prayers for Crickles.

Man oh man...I hate it when kids get sick. I get the heebie-jeebies thinking the worst. You are always so solid and sure.
Anyhoo-prayers said for you and your sweet boy.
It is good to be back on line with you.
I will pray for Crickles. We've all had those worries! Aren't you grateful that it is summer and you don't have to worry about school anyway?
I love the nickname Crickles-cute!
