Dusting Off

Hope you like the wee changes I've made to the blog background on my blogs. I'm in a tinkering mood and this way I'm not boring you to dithers with my blithering.

Sarah - Kala said...: Dawn knows me best . . . I actually loathe eating them or anything flavoured (real or not) with cherries. I think they are pretty, though. Jamie, we all have our opinions. I think you know that this look won't stay too awful long. I scrolled through the free backgrounds and unfortunately, many of them are now "3 column". I should talk to Dawn and find out just what that means if I chose one of those backgrounds . . . will it change my layout? Yikes!; July 10, 2009 at 9:02 AM
Regina said...: no, it wont change your layout if you use a 3 column one from cutestblogontheblock. Their backgrounds are just pictures, NOT templates. if you use a 3 column template then it would change your actual blog. using a 3 column one from them will just mean there is more space on the sides so where the cherries are now, it wouldnt be so close to your writing, because the leave space in between for the 3 columns. if you find one you like in 3 column, let me know. i can probably recreate if for you in 2 column form. make any sense??

Warrior Prayers

Saint Michael the Archangel,
defend us in battle.
Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil.

The Blogger's Prayer

Lord help me to learn to spell without spellcheck,

manage to visit all that visit me,

and post regularly -
all in 5 minutes a day,

so that I can clean house
and take care of my family.

Help me to not look at every occurrence in my life as a blog post,

and to quit taking pictures of weird things to share as well.

Please Lord, help me to stop talking about my blog friends as though they are next door neighbors or someone I have known all of my life.

And help me dear Lord, to think of something witty and wise to post tomorrow.
