Jumbled Thoughts

The only thing I will say about the murdered abortionist (in his own church, for God'sakes!), Tiller, is that he was a man. A man who had done vile things, whether he ever acknowledge that or not. He was wrongly robbed of his life - and so, my friends, let us pray for the repose of his soul and the wounds of his family that are so keenly felt by his loss today.

We said our ciao's to Chief's brother and mom this morning before we left for Mass. I think our parish is ready to toss us out with the bathwater (just kidding!) 'cos I was asked by more than a few, "Is this your last Sunday?" and before I can say much of anything, they quickly add, "We are sorely going to miss you guys!" Hold your horses, folks! June 7th will be our last Sunday with y'all. Calm down.

The kids have said several times today how much they already miss grandma and uncle P. Me, too! It was a short visit, but wonderful.

Got two loads of wash done, took the younger two to Damon's for dinner (my tummy is packed with steak, yum yum!), and we're just waiting for Chief and SB to get back from Life Teen. In the mean time, I'll get back to reading "My Sister's Keeper", which I am finding to be a good read.

Oh, last but not least, I know it's traditionally the Feast of the Visitation today, but today is Pentecost. I'll take either!! But, today is my anniversary of Total Consecration. I'm beginning joyful year number four. Sancta Maria, ora pro nobis.

Please post when you get to the end of that book! I cried....but I also had lots of chocolate, coffee and my hormones were going wacko!

I have requested the book from the library, of course it is on a long list of those who have requested it.. so I'm trying to be patient:)

Happy Anniversary of your Total Consecration! I agree about George Tiller. His death is a tragedy. I am praying for his soul and the comfort of his family.

There's no good in the situation, Lord have Mercy.
