Jesus Loves Me, This I know . . .

Praise God!

This Just In: I am NOT doing backup daycare tomorrow (same place as last week when it was really crazy) 'cos she just called and canceled. Apparently (and, honestly, for this I am terribly sorry this is the reason for the cancellation) they are all sick with intestinal flu - again! I'm sorry they are sick, because someone in the family needs a certain surgery soon and will be turned away -again- if still sick. So, prayers from me that they get over the illness before the end of April when said surgery is supposed to take place. But, I am grateful for not having to go. I was thinking all day (so far), "Oh, God, I really have to go back, don't I?" It's not that it was terrible last week, but it wasn't fun in the least. So, I am:

Skippin' happy mimi right now!!

Also, I am doubly happy as last week I had made the decision to stop doing backup daycare permanently. I don't have time to be away from my kids as they finish up the school year. We don't need the money that bad - we are cutting back anyway so we're, thank God, doing okay.

I AM FREE!!!! I am also very hyper from the four cups of coffee I've consumed thus far today. Okay, and a can of Coca-Cola. Sheesh. My brain is frizzy I'm so dern happy!

Yes, Kissteen, you have some catching up to do 'cos I'm a posting bandit lately!! I like the Real Thing and no diet. I am guessing Jamie's drinking Diet due to her diabetes. But you, which is it?

GrandmaK - you are too funny! it's a bit early for the Halleluia's but then again, we're not at Mass . . . does that make a difference? Because I don't really know. Do we not say it at all during Lent? I mean, outside of Mass?

Oh, I would be relieved too! I don't blame you. Come on over, and I'll make you another pot of coffee. ;-)

Oh, Yea! What a relief. Hope it was good coffee. Starbucks? You enjoy!

Tracy - addict is hardly the word in my case, but I know so many who drink gobs more than I do.

Renae - is it warm in TX yet? Or where you are did you get no snow? I would love to come have a cuppa with you. I need to go read your blog - after I take heaps to the bin I will. Nice sit down with your blog and a cuppa!

Rosemary - I buy the pound bag of Starbucks House Blend for my maker. It's only about $6 at the commissary as opposed to $10-$12 at Starbucks. Same taste, more convenient and cheaper. So, the coffee does taste better. :)
