Some Cheering Up Is In Order

Something very cute - birds always make me smile!!
The Sun is shinning today - I'm grateful for the warmth and light.

Ah, sweet ever lovin' Jesus, thanks be to Ye for this fine beverage!

Oh, and thanks be to Ye for this even finer beverage!!

For the love of God and all that is Holy, if Cadbury doesn't bring a smile to your gob, there's very little I can do for yous!!
EVERYONE HAVE A BLESSED DAY AND REMEMBER TO LOVE THOSE WHO ARE NEAR YOU, PRAY FOR THEM, AND BE GRATEFUL FOR SOMETHING TODAY.
What makes you happy or smile or chuckle? I mean, this listing is very short - just a taste!

Hmm...what makes me smile or chuckle?
Kids...who say the darndest things.
Two samples here:
My daughter works in our church daycare..a little 4 yr. old boy was in the bathroom and my her co-worker was waiting and waiting for him to come out after all the other little fellas. Eventually, after much frustration from the teacher, he mosied on out the door. She says.."I'm glad you finished your job, so n so"
He looks at her with a most sincere face and say, "But Miss Becky, my job was so big!" ROFL!!!!

This past weekend in my 6th gr. Rel. Ed. class, we were talking about the 4 Mark of the Church..being One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic. I always tell the children to study about these, learn, get the facts and hopefully they won't mess with being in the wrong place. "Why bother going to the wrong church and wasting your time?" A little gal in my class who possibly is autistic..not entirely sure of the diagnosis, but she is sweet as ever and you don't realize she is listening, but she comes out with some of the most profound statements and she says.."Yeah, that's right or you might as well be in just another bingo parlor!" LOL!!!!!!!!!!!
Is that not a hoot? How TRUE was that statement?!!! Man, I love it!
Hope these make a few laugh today too!

The Bahamas make me smile. A bubbly warm hot tub makes me chuckle..knowingly. What's up with the sweet birdies and the oh so happy sunshine face? Just pass the beer and chocolate.

Birds make me happy too. Especially the FIFTEEN ROBINS I saw in one tree the other day. Sub freezing weather. What are they doing here? Little gifts from God. They made me smile. My piano makes me smile and the poinsettia on it that's still lovely and red! My kids make me chuckle-- all the time. AND my grandfather clock that just chimed and reminded me of my grandparents to whom it belonged.
Thanks for getting my jaw unclenched.

They all do. I will take all of it. No birds around here, no beer either the coffee is cold and almost all gone, I have some stale chocolate chips I could chow on.

Heck...I need to go shopping!

my dh usually makes me smile or laugh...he is so funny. One of the many reasons why I married him!

I saw the first cardinal of the year in my backyard today. It's warming up. (Smile!)

This time of year, candy hearts make me smile. They're so cute, bright ... and sweet! I also have a tea that I like that (I think) tastes just like candy hearts. Yum!

And my kids make me laugh ... Today, I knew my 3-year-old didn't take a nap. Moms know when they walk into the room that the child has been goofing off. I asked her if she was naughty. She said, "Yes." At least she's honest, huh?! Then, she told me that she wouldn't be naughty tomorrow. God love her!

Cute post. Very cute post.

I'll take the coffee, though. Just give me coffee. Cadbury? Okayfine. As long as coffee comes with it. :)

I have news to share.

I first read about the Red Envelope Project at the Da Mihi Animas (salesianity.blogspot.com), and wish to add my voice to those announcing and carrying out the effort, a pro-life effort. May I do so here?

Cadbury is a beautiful thing. When my husband and I were on our honeymoon in Ireland, newly married, young, in love and without two nickels to rub together we existed on the whole line of Cadbury products and Guiness.

A well-rounded meal by any Irish accounts. ;-)

God Bless,
Jane

You're a girl after me own heart! I'm with you on the Guinness and the Cadbury Chocolate most definitely... Other than that, things that make me smile or chuckle: Old Laurel and Hardy movies, a giggling child, a clean kitchen that I didn't clean...
