FOR TODAY Monday 12 January 2009


Outside My Window... bleedin' frost!

I am thinking... my dog needs a bath.

I am thankful for... being able to keep warm.

From the learning rooms...too early to hear anything, because they're still sleeping.

From the kitchen...coffee pot making funny perking noises.

I am wearing...pj bottoms and an Iowa Hawkeyes pullover.

I am creating...a mental 'to do' list.

I am going...to a morning well-woman's appointment (ahem -yucky yuck!)

I am reading...The Life of Teresa of Avila (almost done!!!) among many others (almost done with those, too!)

I am hoping... I can accomplish what I have set out before me today.

I am hearing...my cat sighing (yes, sighing) behind me.

Around the house... quiet, as everyone is still sleeping.

One of my favorite things...chocolate (that was likely a given).

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week: Monday through Wednesday night our church is having a retreat with Fr. Jude, guest speaker. Thursday, a possible board meeting (my last as President of MCCW). Friday, a daycare job and, a Divine Mercy planning meeting over dinner in the evening.
