Our New "Do's"

The girl got bangs and a bit of a trim (after coaxing from the stylist). She's happy and it suits her!

And, well, a bit of a fuzzy photo (my camera's batteries went wonky just as we took my girls pic . . . . ). I like the cut - my head feels much lighter (be nice!).

Let's just say: I'm not done yet. I go back Tuesday. I can't wait!!

Cute! I like it. Are you going to the March for Life? (Do I recall you're in that area?)

I like the shorter style, very nice. Your daugther is adorable with the bangs.

Those first couple of days after a cut aren't too kind to me as I'm learning how to work with it.

I like it also! Looks great on you! I have had long hair forever...time for a cut...do I dare?

You both look great!! I like bangs on girls!! Time for my girls' bangs to be cut this weekend!!

The short hair is totally *You* Some people can wear short hair and you can!!

I read your conversion in the chapel tonight during my holy hour (I figured it was spiritual reading) Great story. Amazing how God works, isn't it? So glad you are where you are now.

OH, I don't have a laptop and would not bring that to the chapel...I printed your story and read it there. :)

Very becoming do's, on both of you.

Rosemary - I am going to "pass" on going to the March because of very lame, but real, excuses, not to be mentioned here. I will be praying though.

All - thanks for the very kind comments about our new do's!

Jamie - I never thought you would take your laptop to Adoration.
You are too funny! I'm also grateful to God for where I am currently at - and that He has more in store for me than I could ever imagine.

Dawn - it's a secret. I'll post a picture Tuesday night or Wednesday morning about the finishing touches. :-)

As I am wont to say at times, "Never underestimate the power of a haircut!"

Looks great!

my daughter just got bangs last weekend and we've been trying to "manuever" them all week. she has such thick hair! she kinda reminds me of peggy sue.
and i love your short hair. i need some layers as my hubby likes my hair on the longer side...hard to be "obedient" to his wishes sometimes, but that is really all he's ever asked of me-no short hair.
i still haven't read your story yet, but i am dying to.
i was a bit sick yesterday, so i am behind on everything.
and with regards to the bird watching, i am amazed at how many beautiful birds frequent our yard, probably because all of the trees make great homes. i wish i had a better camera, though. those hummingbirds are tough to capture on film unless they are sitting still, which doesn't happen very often!
take care and God bless.

Nice cuts! I've gone through many styles thru the years, but i keep going back to the same ol' reliable. I can't stand it.

YOU look great! I can't imagine what else you're going to do - maybe color or highlights?

I love both of them, and boy does your daughter look like you, and you are just stunning! I love the short look...love it, love it!

Alexa - precisely!!

regan - my husband doesn't care as long as I'm happy - at least that is what he says. Once, and only once, did I perm my hair. I did it after we were married and he was flying into Seattle to get me to move across the country . . . meeting him at the gate at SeaTac, he laughed and pointed so much at my perm I just about died. No more perms!

Melissa - I've had mostly short hair until kids; then various lenghths, but always returning to some kind of bob of short cut. Nothing extreme. I'll post a pic of the additions Tues or Wed.

Jen - stunning? Wow, my girl will be so happy - if'n she looks so much like me!! merci beaucoup!
