My wooden Santa's I bought at a craft fair in VA - eons ago. Folks, I'm talking eons. I was so young and willing to go into debt then . . . at least these charges have lasted. Again, I digress.
My Fontanini Advent Calendar. This is the side table where I keep my study books and Magnificat etc. The Polish Pottery tree was a gift from my friend, Michele. Her hubby picked some of these up in Germany a while back. It's a tea light holder. It looks fab at night - but I'm sure if I tried to take a pic of that it would turn out looking like a cluster of fuzzy stars in the night sky and . . . . yeah, I know.
Our wonky tree. It's fake. I don't care. It saves us money every year. It's about 13 years old. I actually like my "flying" Santa above the rocking chair. I have had that for eons, too. I think I got it at the same time as the chunky Santa's.
I have more to share, but since I'm completely daft, it will appear ahead of this post. Just a couple more pictures and rotten commentary. Enjoy!

Sarah, that ornament made me laugh out loud, too. :o) Sisters! Gotta love 'em.
I enjoy seeing your Christmas treasures. Thanks!
Thanks for sharing!! I love your "wonky" tree....just because you call it WONKY! What fun to see your treasures and what they mean to you.
Your flying Santa was great!
Kalona - yes, that saying is quite funny and so very true of me!
Christine - did you click on the pictures? I did and they enlarge, you know? AND BOY ARE THEY FUZZY!! I'm going to take a better picture of the tree and do up another post on it later. It's still going to remain wonky, but at least not blurry!
BTW, my real Christmas treasure is my girl . . . more on her tomorrow. :)
Okay, obviously it's JESUS for real, but as far as other nouns go, my girl. :-)
I love the first ornament.
how sweet!
I used to have all my pics come out like that! till I got my new camera...sigh....soooo much better now!!
Mimi - I love it, too.
MM - I would love a new camera, but I just bought this one a year ago . . . and money is just too tight not to just keep using this one while it still puts out 3/4's of the time pretty good pics. Maybe next year. BUT, since my kids don't read this, I can say here: my hubby's siblings are supposedly buying my kids a digital camera (it has more to do with gifting their mom than my kids in my opinion, but whatever! The plan is to get their mom this printer that you can email the pics to). So, maybe I'll borrow it sometime. Unless it's the same camera. Oh, well.
And I do not mean to sound ungrateful . . . My girl is the one who will love this camera more than the boys - although they'll enjoy it, too.
I think I may brave going out and getting PhotoShop.
