Happy Birthday Teenie Tiny

She'll pose even when it's hot outside and we're all acting like dumdum tourists in our own town.

She'll help out in the OldTyme Bakery . . . even if just to make a sandwich. She is sporting her first apron (h/t Kitchen Madonna) in this picture. She got a "Ace of Cakes" apron courtesy my sister for this birthday.

She loves animals . . . even though it took her a bit longer to warm up to the "not a puppy any longer" Holly.

She's a smarty-pants. She looks like her daddy, a much prettier version of course!

She loves to frolic in the rain and puddles, not minding at all getting dirty much to my chagrin.
This is a girl who has a heart too big for this world - It is my constant prayer that the world doesn't crush it, but allows her to share it unreservedly as it is a gift to be given and not taken. I ask Our Lady of Fatima to watch over her always - as Our Lady of Fatima is certainly calling to my precious girl. Keep her in your care, Dear Holy Mother, because we both need you.
Teenie - you are my heart! May God richly bless you and keep you. Happy 13th birthday, my creative, kindred spirit.
Love,
Mum

Thanks Therese, Suzanne, Dawn (can you believe this? I have two teens now!!), and Mimi. We just got back from the Mall (what a nightmareish place to be five days before Christmas!!) where Teenie got her ears pierced (for the third time; the other times, she let them grow back) and got some hair accessories she wanted. Then, we stopped by GameStop and Wii went shopping (hint hint). On the way home, Starbucks for her white chocolate mocha and my peppermint twist mocha. Yum. I'm about to head out again, because what did I fail to get at the grocery store? CAKE MIX! Okay, do I need to put my list together better or what?!? I do not love the place because I'm there all the time (so, I'll make my NY resolution: make better lists).

Love y'all!

Happy birthday girl! I remember when you were knee high to a grasshopper, I think that's actually the last time I saw you. I hope you had a great day and had wishes that came true.
