We went to Mass.
We handed out some candy. Not many came by really.
More for us!

Where God, Family, and Country Are Everything (in proper order)
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my mother; to thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me.
Amen.Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of Thy faithful and enkindle in them the fire of Thy love.
V. Send forth Thy Spirit and they shall be created.
R. And Thou shalt renew the face of the earth.

I have a "treat" for you on my blog....
I had to work last night. But I ended up with a ton of loot! The kids were ever so generous (mostly gum and lollipops).
Don't you love it when there's lots left? Especially all that chocolate! (I start my diet tomorrow! :)
Anne - my kids handed out candy; they did not go out. I feel they are too old to do that any more. I saw many many many tiny kids last night - may who did not want to bother crossing the street w/ their parents to get our loot. It was kind of like, "Are you people LAZY or what???" Next year, we're skipping it altogether. But, we had mostly Mike and Ike and stuff that wasn't chocolate; stuff I can turn away from fairly easily.
Sarah, I hope you have a very blessed All-Saints Day! Enjoy those treats =)
