U.S.S. Oklahoma Memorial

Originally, Hols had two of those pompoms in her hair, but it didn't take long for them both to come out . . . Teenie put one back in. So cute! She smells so much better and looks fantastic after a good grooming.

Teenie and I took a walk last night and decided to share this memorial with y'all.

And, yes, that is old iron side . . . U.S.S. Missouri . . . behind all this.

Ooops. I deleted a slab picture, but I'm not returning it. Too lazy! It was a full view of this one, but I focused on this one because of the verse. We sing this after Mass at the Navy Chapel. When I read this last night I could NOT get the song out of my head!

She had a hernia or I'd have probably not fixed her and eventually had her do the nasty to give me some more pups. :) She looks a lot like her dad, TBone, who is owned by my friend Dawn (blogs at A Helping Hand). The Blogger's Prayer

Lord help me to learn to spell without spellcheck,

manage to visit all that visit me,

and post regularly -
all in 5 minutes a day,

so that I can clean house
and take care of my family.

Help me to not look at every occurrence in my life as a blog post,

and to quit taking pictures of weird things to share as well.

Please Lord, help me to stop talking about my blog friends as though they are next door neighbors or someone I have known all of my life.

And help me dear Lord, to think of something witty and wise to post tomorrow.
