See my tan line from my watch? Here's the lovely plumeria bracelet my husband got me. Yes, I'm wearing a ring we got at a jewelry shop when we first got here . . . and the middle ring is, yes, a Lord of the Rings ring. I love silver, but I really love Lord of the Rings!
Sorry the picture isn't that great. Can you see the lovely brown carpet that's covering the floors upstairs? This carpet is a bit thick so I have to push and pull my Oreck a bit more than if the carpet were berber (burber? burbur?). Flat carpet is best.

I have one word for you - Guaifenesin sold under the brand name of Mucinex. Get the store brand, it's cheaper but be sure and check the label for strength and up the dose. A couple or three 600mg per day should do the trick. It thins mucus allowing it to be expelled.
Get straight guaifenesin without the cold medicine additives.
As to carpet, none is the very best. We're on our third house and in each house we ripped up the carpet (filthy stuff) and put down wood parquet. Easy to care for and no filthy carpet to vacuum.
And ...... wood parquet is cheaper than carpet, too!
