More Rambling

If you look closely, you can see a wee finch on the branch. I had to zoom in from inside my van. Any slight movement and those wee birds take off like rockets. They literally roam about in flocks. There's another bird here that I absolutely love love love, I tell you! It's called the java sparrow. I'll try to capture my own picture to share some time. I tried at the Punchbowl . . . where I first encountered them. They look a bit like miniature puffins.

Here's a snail in my lawn. This was a big one. I smooshed a very tiny one into oblivion the other day. I felt terrible . . . it is, after all, a harmless creature created by God and I would never stomp on one on purpose. I do have to nudge them out of the back yard, fearing Hols will eat them or toy with them. Yuck.

I've even a clover patch in my back yard. No leprechauns and no sightings of garden gnomes either. I'm clearly quite disappointed!

I also can't seem to hold perfectly still when taking pictures. But, here's some (blurry) fabrics. Wonder what I'm going to do with those?

And, another mysterious pile of fabrics. Hmmmmm.

I shall reveal if and when I get time to create what is on my mind to create. *smile*

I paid the bus fare for my youngest and so he can start riding the bus Monday. Phew. Two kids to go. I'll set up Teenie and SB on Monday. Today the older two have a 'waiver day' which means 'no school'. Teenie stayed at a friend's last night and they are going to the beach today. SB is in computer gaming heaven. I'm allowing it because: so far this year, he is pulling straight A's. He's been busting his hump and it's paying off!

God, I do so love being right about that boy. Just don't let me get too awful silly about it.

Great pictures! My curiosity is peaked about the fabric. I am guessing it is for the other 2 PIFs!

Thanks, Squelly. It's all coming along nicely.

Erika - I totally understand. I still called, though, 'cos I'm a bloody dolt and didn't get a card in the post!

Erika and Therese - Good. Serves to make you wonder if . . . he he he. Just pray that what I am doing turns up, otherwise I may as well send cash for you to buy yourselves something. Just kidding. Therese, one thing is done for you, but I want to do just one more thing 'cos I feel that the one thing is not enough. Don't ask! I'm one of those that wonder if I do enough . . . shoot me!
