Me In the Shirt (at Dawn's Request)

I've washed it twice, but I need to wash it again (it's a bit stiff - forgot the fabric softener).

Dem Rules:
Dem cheeks (for Jen):

*If you look close enough (at the CARPET to the right of that rather large piece of meat in the center of the photograph) you may see the grayish areas? Those are the BBQ spots. I have to call a cleaner. Oh, well. Okay, I know I'm not a massive cow, but I do need to drop thirty.

Mary, Mother of God, please ask Jesus to "kill" my unhealthy appetite! Amen.

The shirt is very cute but the wearer is even cuter.

Also love your poster as Our Lady of Guadalupe (am looking at a holy card of her that I keep taped to my PC) was esp. beloved by my late hubby Mario since he was raised in an hispanic country.

Sarah, do you have a Lowe's there? Maybe other places might have this, though, but there is a carpet stain remover called Folex and I watched my daughter spray it on Georgia red clay dirt (notorious for staining)on her carpet and it literally disappeared. So guess what I immediately bought?
There is a site... www.folex.net

Have just discovered it is a great piece of exercise equipment too for I have gone down to re-check the name for you and thought...I will also get my vitamins while downstairs, went back upstairs after doing the laundry, forgot the Folex name check and vitamins, went back down, remembered the Folex, put away dishes and forgot the vitamins! Am I having fun or what?

blessings and hugs,

marcy

You are such a good friend to blog your butt for me! You know what's funny? I didn't look at it and think about a 'road map to hell' at all! I think we're definitely our own worst critics. I've lost 30 lbs over the last year and a half and still need to lose 20 more... people look at me like I'm nuts when I tell them this, but the weight charts don't lie! And I know what I used to look like back then, and they don't!
I stole your weight ticker and am using it to help motivate myself to drop those last pounds. Of course, if I keep baking treats for the family, all the motivation in the world isn't going to make me unable to smell fresh banana bread!

You are one brave woman. NEVER will you find an intentional picture of my butt plastered on some internet blog:)
Cute shirt, good for them for taking something bad and turning it into something good.
I have a picture I took a few days ago thinking of you. Probably should get it posted.
Maybe I will go do it now.

marcy - no Lowes that I'm aware of. We do have Home Depot. I'll see if I can find that product, but the date is getting late. WE move out probably faster than I could get any product ordered here. SO. I'm okay with getting a cleaner. They can do the full room (no halls, no bedrooms). BTW, that OLOG is a tapestry and wonderful friend gave me as a going away - aloha - gift. I love it! your exercise story made me giggle.

Dawn - there be some tannin'.

GrandmaK - I think I need my head examined, yeah?

Jen - you are too kind and your butt is kinder to the lens than mine will ever be. the fat from the trunk goes the very last when I lose weight AND I may only go from a ten to an eight. Still, I'll take the 8. I was a 6 when I married . . . I won't see that ever again (unless I get some kind of disease that whittles me down). Baking is my downfall also. I have to shut my gob and walk on by. It's so hard to do with choice sweets about.

Kissteen - I will!!!! :)

Gramma 2 many - I am willing to poke fun at myself. I'm sure I've written far more embarrassing things than sharing my bum. Ha! I will keep checking your blog for this elusive photo. :)

Love the shirt. It's hard to believe you could lose 30 pounds, Sarah. Really. You look fine.

Rosemary, thank you, but my "little butt" goes an extra long way. Yeah! I have the beginnings of a tire on the upper half of my arse, which in trousers, you can't see. In pj pants or nekked, it's just plain scary. It is not 30 pounds altogether in that one spot . . . the thighs are thicker and I've a bit of a belly starting . . . I really do need to at least get in shape (and I think when I do that, I will lose all that junk).
