An Award from Marcy

Thanks, Marcy! Sorry it has taken me so long to get to posting this . . . here we go:

1. List Seven Things That Make You Awe-Summm!

2. Pass the award on to seven bloggers you read religiously.

3. Tag those seven bloggers.

*sigh* I really loathe the linkyloos. I think that is why I avoid these things. I also think I toot my own bloody horn here enough as it is, but here we go . . .

Seven Things About Moi That Make Moi Awe-Summm:

1. I'm Catholic
2. I can read several novels at the same time (not at the exact same time, but like, I can read several within a month, going back and forth between them and keep them all straight).
3. I have been married nearly seventeen years to the same guy!
4. Even though I have a rotten temper, I almost always can see "it" from both sides.
5. I'm very forgiving.
6. I'd like to think I have a grand sense of humour since folks tell me so often enough . . . perhaps this is true.
7. I can speak with a wicked-awesome British accent.

This narrowing down the seven blogs I read religiously is a bit difficult since I read all the ones on my sidebar and my bookmarks every day and revisit the later in the same day if I have time and I almost always have time . . . . maybe after we get moved in to our house, I won't have time, but I am addicted so there you are.

1. Christine at Meet Me At the Gates
2. Dawn at A Helping Hand
3. Adrienne at Adrienne's Catholic Corner
4. Maurisa at Half a Dozen Productions
5. Erika at Twins and A Finn
6. Nancy at Be Not Afraid
7. Brandie at Book Junkie

See? No linkyloos. I'm just "that" tired today folks. Well, and I over ate the huli huli chicken we got on our way home from haircuts, minor grocery shopping, and stopping by our house and peeking in the windows. Gosh, I can't wait to move in now . . . now that I've seen IN the downstairs and stood in my back yard! I had to flick a mosquito off my husbands head as well as smash one on his knee . . . yuck! He is a magnet. For some reason, and I'm grateful for it, them bugs hate my blood. Every now and again, I'll get bit, but it's rare. We met a neighbour and he confirmed that they are out all year in droves, but that the citronella works brilliantly. That explains all the tiki torches everywhere.

I can't do the last thing - tagging seems so nutty. If you read this post, pick up the award if you like and post about it. You don't even have to leave me a comment that you've done it or going to do it, 'cos I'll be around your blog a couple of times a day anyway so I'll know.

G'night y'all!

Hi, Sarah! I've not been around much and probably won't get to catch up on all the reading here, but I've missed you. How are things and how is the adjustment going there? Suz

Wow - thanks so much. It's not quite as great as a pincushion, but I never turn down an honor. And that's one on my awesome traits - I forgive but I never, ever forget. Can you say pincushion angst?

Anyhoo - it's 12 noon and I haven't done one single solitary thing except blog and shove some toast in my face. I think I need to do something, so I'll get on this later today.
