I Haven't Patience Enough

This picture is for Brandie, specifically, but y'all might like it: (Yes, they have hula ones, too, but I didn't see them when I got this one). The chews should lead you to the logical conclusion that my arse is, indeed, going to get larger rather than smaller on O'ahu. Ahem.

I am waiting for the leasing agent to ring me up so I can let her know it's okay to bring a client this direction to check out the condo. I want to be as accommodating as possible since she has been so kind to us from the start . . . but I have to keep this place picked up constantly or race around like a dodo to make it presentable. She doesn't stop by - ever. She always calls so there are no immediate surprises. I hope she's able to get someone in here soon after we vacate on the 19th.

We are on the 19 day count down. Actually, we will get our key for our house the 17th, move in on the 18th and live there on the 19th. Then, we can bring Holly home to be with us on the 20th. I cannot wait!

I think that War and Peace is going to keep me quite busy. The book is heavy as heck-ola, too. It's a good thing I haven't any problems with my wrists.

But, I want to stitch, not read.

When I am restless like this it is always better for me to sit still. So, that is what I am going to do.

I remember the days of keeping the house picked up for potential buyers... boy, was that stressful! Thank God it was short-lived!

You'll have to post updates on your arse size! HE HE.

I learned to love macadamia nuts when we went to Hawaii long ago, so that sounds good.

So, you're trying War and Peace? Wish there was a Peace and Peace for real. So which of Dostoyevsky's books got you hooked...Crime and Punishment or Brothers Karamasov? For me it was the first which lead to the second, but I'm not even sure I got all the way through War and Peace because of the daunting size of the tome!

How exciting that you are getting so close to moving time.

Hopefully you get to go visit your little dog?

blessings and hugs,

marcy

p.s. That dressed up bottle was hilarious *wink* and that's the truth.

Kissysteen - Those chews are delish. I prefer the chocolate ones, of course, but the others are a creamy caramel. NICE! When MN gets too cold for you, come on over! We'll increase our arses together!

Thanks, Tracey. You know I'll be posting on that!

LarryD - do you like macs?

Jen - no pics of my arse, here. I want to keep my readers, thank you. :)

J - you said something about dried fruit, too. Is there a certain kind you want that you can't get there? I can add it to a box with macadamias in it if you like?

Marcy - Tolstoy is War and Peace, but I did read (I think) just about every book Dostoyevsky's books. Of the two you mentioned, it was Brother's that started my love for Dostoyevsky's works. Tolstoy started with Anna K. I used to fancy myself rather a deep intellectual, sitting out in my punk outfits, smoking cigs, drinking my latte's with my nose in Russian Lit at the local cafes. Yeah, I know better now, but I look back and laugh. A LOT!! I do think I have met (maybe on half one hand) a few who have ever ready any Russian Lit. It's sad.

P.S. Marcy - I love my dingaling suit on my bottle. He he he. Also, Yes, Holly - I will have my darling dog back!! We miss her so much . . . we do see her weekly, but it's been too long w/out her.

You know, something kept on nagging at me when I was trying to put War and Peace together with with Crime & Punishment...WHY, oh WHY don't I listen to that litle inner voice that says..hmmm...think you're gonna look like a goofball, lady?? Where are those mouthfuls of crackers (my post today) when you need them?

Well, I say if yur iliterite, jist go ahed and bee praud!! No ceegar fer me and nun of them lattes neether.

Oh the plus side, at least they are both Russian, so do I get points for that? (Hey a D+ is better than just a D).

I wasn't failing you on any account, trust me! And, you took the wee correction so well. I knew you would since you possess such a brilliant sense of humour!!!
