Thank You, Friends!

Well, apparently I have acid-reflux, but the doc was thinking it could be mild pleurisy . . . we are treating with Zantac (I think that was the name of it). I have read it's not a cure for acid-reflux, but anything to knock it off a bit would be nice. I think the real "cure" is to eat properly and not stress over stupid stuff (I eat okay, I rarely exercise, and I'm stressed over the move). I'm going to walk daily now, eat better, and pray/meditate more. I'll take the pills for ten days and if they work, great, but that's all I'm committed to. Oh, and reducing my coffee consumption to two cups a day. No more than that. Dawn, I hope that makes you proud!

Glad you found something out. I have had this off and on so often...definitely stress related, but I knew it was also important that you go and look into it because some symptoms are so similar, they say.

Glad to hear it's not as bad as you had originally feared - it probably hurts to laugh too, I imagine. So here's your prescription - no CMR until Monday! I mean it - you might injure yourself!

why is it so easy to take care of others and so hard to take care of ourselves? this is the eternal mother question, isn't it?
i will pray that you make healthier choices.

Okay LarryD - I'll read a book Catholic Company sent me to review instead of checking out CMR. Good perscription, but I'll miss it!

Regan - this was the picture response to the one of you and your girl . . . plus, it sort of suited me today. GREAT skin? Bah! But, thank you dearie, for such a great compliment. HUGS!!

Thanks, Suz and Mimi - the prayers help!!!

I hope the Zantac works for you. I take Nexium once a day to keep my reflux at bay! Definitely DONT eat right before bed. I have to make sure I'm done eating by 6pm.
I know you're stressed about the move. I will keep you in my prayers, Sarah!

Take it easy Sarah - pleurisy is so painful (so it could still be that?), and acid reflux hurts too!
Praying for a swift recovery. {{{hugs}}}
