Q & A Drumroll.....

Aussie Therese asks: If you could be another person for a day, who would you be and what would you do? Oooooh, this is hard, because really, this line of wishful thinking can be so trivial and petty. So, it's hard. I don't like the idea of living through other people - even if it were granted. I think it would be fun to share their life up to that point - if I were them, though, wouldn't I cease to exist? - and, then, when I return to myself, would I get to keep their memories? Would living in their shoes for one day make all of their experiences my own to keep always? I dunno. I don't think it's so much other people I would want to be, but I would like to experience places and people and vocations and jobs that others have had. They would then by my own - and no need to be them even for one day. But, alas! I only have my own shoes to fill and my own choices to make. For the sake of the question, I'll choose: Gwen Steffani and I would rock like her in one of her concerts and do something charitable - make a huge donation to CRS.

Mau asks: What is the worst parenting decision you have ever made? That's easy. Having a tubal ligation.

Suzanne asks: Let us know three good quotes from different sources that you enjoy . . one from a Catholic person or Saint, one from your hubby or children that you like, and one just from Sarah. "There, you're as good as you were the day you were baptised!" - Father Willoughby after Confession/receiving absolution. "Come, hither." - my husband. "The emptiest service is self-service." - moi.

Christine: Do you take your family camping? Do you have a tent? I do not take the family camping. My husband does the Scout camping with our boys. Years ago we went as a family to a Scout camp . . . and it was alright (minus the second night I got no sleep as it was damp, I was half off the mattress with our youngest wedged between us and the rain storm) so we did it again in a different location and got SOAKED. I haven't done it since. I may try it again. Um, yes, we have three or four tents and all sorts of other camping gear.

Mimi asks: Who is your favourite Beatle and why? This is a standard question? Um, Paul, because I think he was the most talented of the four. They did do very well together though and that made all the difference. And, I'm basing this answer solely on music, not looks or any other reason.

That's it this week. Put a fork in me. My husband is home, I have a tight schedule tomorrow, and plans to organize things this weekend (for our eventual move). Have a blessed weekend, everyone.

great answers. This is a great thing to do each week.

It would be good to get a group thing happening with this. We could all ask one question and all answer the questions asked by all the group.

AussieTherese - you might be on to something. I tried to keep my answers a little shorter this time. It's been such a long week, yeah? God bless!

Suz - thanks for the email this AM. I can't believe the stunts folks will try and pull off.

IS ANYONE ELSE REALLY PEEVED ABOUT OUR PREZ BEING ON THE TONIGHT SHOW? I DID NOT WATCH - HE'S OVER EXPOSED IN THE MEDIA FOR NO REASON. HE'S ACTING LIKE A STUPID CELEBRITY. SO HE GOES ON THE TONIGHT SHOW BUT WILL NOT GO TO A DINNER/EVENT WITH THE OLD FRAT TRADITIONAL THING SINCE A WAY BACK WHEN PREZ . . . HE'S DIS'ING THE OLD AND GOING TOO FAR FORWARD TO THE YOUTH. DOES HE NOT REALIZE HE IS MIDDLE-AGED AND NOT REALLY ALL THAT HIP? He's strutting, and a Prez should not strut. Know what I mean?

I DO know what you mean, Sarah. I couldn't believe he went on the Tonight show. I think it takes away from the dignity of his office. Rock stars should not be presidents. He should have better things to do than hit the entertainment circuit. Have free time, Mr. President? We could use a little leadership in our country.
John Lennon was always my favorite Beatle. Not sure why. I always thought that McCartney, while very talented, could get a little sappy.
I like Aussie's idea about a regular question thing.
