I drove a lot today. After the on-line shipping fees put my wallet to the chase, I decided to drive twenty minutes north to a different Target. No gate. I went over to Toys R Us and found a gate. It's mesh and spring-loaded and it will work for years to come. It's lower than the wood one we had so it's easy to step/jump/lunge over without killing yourself . . . and we all know how important it is to keep all our body parts in proper working order.
Speaking of that, pray for Jamie (Lord, Make Me A Saint) as she's broken her ankle and will have a few months to recover (and she's pregnant - the baby is fine). But, pray anyway. Can you imagine the pain? The fear for her baby? The fact she's going to need help with everything?
No grocery shopping until Monday.
I'm spent.
