And I Feel Fine . . . .

I have felt much better since earlier this week, but the deafness had driven me mad and I've gone off to the doc this AM to get me some legal drugs. FIRST, I went to the wrong clinic - I'm so daft! - but thankfully they rang the correct clinic to let them now I'm a legit "here twenty minutes before the appointment". Don't get me on that subject (all the dumdum red tape legalese in just about any business these days). I was in and out rather quickly and only had to wait in the chemist line about fifteen minutes. I had "World Without End" with me, just in case.

Always bring a book!!!!!!

Fortunately I forgot it when I did my back-up daycare job yesterday . . . the 14-month-old took over an hour to console to sleep (with a rather nasty nappy to change as well - the care provider told me upon return and report that her mum had said she hadn't pooped in three days . . . yeah, I kinda figured that out, yeah????). Let's just say I didn't have time to read at all and I almost fell asleep to that Easy Listening channel I put on in hopes it would calm her. We both were calmed and lulled pretty good. I still hate elevator versions of "I'm Leaving On A Jet Plane" (shit! I've gone and got it stuck in my head again by mentioning it).

Okay, so I've got a nose spray (I'll never use it - let's just say docs have tried to get me to snort stuff up my nose since I can remember, and, I know it's helpful, but it tastes like crud and I'm just stubborn enough to not use it unless I'm dern desperate), 60mg pills of Sudafed (I'm so happy about this as the OTC is only 10mg - no duh it's not working!!) and Claritin. Apparently I have allergies (yeah, I knew this, too, but I really loathe taking pills for a wimpy allergic response, as I could just keep my house cleaner . . . okay, so we'll not talk about that either).

The van will be going to get her fix up maintenance tonight. My hubs and I will drop her off for her oil change, tire rotation etc.. $19.95 at the dealership. I love it when I actually keep coupons!!!!!

Y'all have a blessed day. I have to ring up Dawn and get crackin' on my first embroidery challenge. Pictures of that "mess" later. Wish me luck! I'll share even if it's not perfect. Promise.
