Well Wishes For 2009

I certainly hope my blog friends aren't feeling under the weather today. It's kind of hard to knock back drinks knowing that the first day in the new year is an Holy Day of Obligation. I ate pizza and had one black and tan. I could hardly move after. I went to bed about 11pm and kept waking here and there when I'd hear noise in the house. We managed to get up and get ourselves to Mass this morning, too. Good start for a new year: inviting God right from the start to be where He should, which is in the beginning of our thoughts, the beginning of our words, and the beginning of our deeds.
Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God, Pray for us.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Thank you, gels. Same to you!

I had to remove that bloody template, because it took forever and a day to load. It was neat, but perhaps I'll find another that doesn't take so long.

Love the palm tree and beach! Happy New Year! Isn't it great being Catholic, starting the year where we belong?

that is a great shirt......i only had one small drink last night as well, full well knowing i had to meet my LORD this morning. i stumbled upon your blog and enjoyed reading. i, too, just enrolled my oldest in a charter school, not full time, only three days a week, this is his first year of high school as well...they must hand out 'tude at ALL highschools 'cause we've been dealing with that here too. i am still not sure if not having to do highschool math is a good enough trade off after some of the ugly little displays of "i really do know everything now that i've been in REAL school for three months...." i know SOME of it is normal, but it doesn't mean i have to like it!
btw, good luck with the move, we moved this summer and it wasn't pretty. hopefully, though, GOD has some really great things in store for your family. i know He did for us. .....just TRUST.
