I received (after a long wait) a copy of The Divine Office for Dodos. I'm going at it slowly now that I've got to a point where I'm "digging in". The first couple of lessons are a breeze, though, and I like this author's teaching style.

I've got some lovely things lately. Yesterday I got a box full of Cadbury sweets, two rosaries (my kids squirreled them away) and lovely cards from Deb (Ukok). Many trillion times over: thank you!! I was quite nice actually: I sent my eldest boy off to school with the Crunchie (his absolute fav). He's testing all week - he needs the sugary boost! As you can see by this pic, I had a piece of the caramel one with my morning coffee and prayer time. The other bits in the picture are a rosary, roses (blessed) and a third class relic embedded in the reverse of this lovely St. Rita charm (for a necklace or bracelet) - these came from a friend and parishioner last Sunday. St. Rita is her patron saint and so: a shout out to you, Annamaria: may God bless you for blessing me in such a kind way. St. Rita, ora pro nobis.
For those of you taking part in the Walk for Life today, whether in spirit or on foot, everywhere in the world: May Our Lady grant you her sweet comforts as you offer up this day for the unborn, the infirm, the unloved, the unnoticed, for all those others would consider unworthy of life. You are all in my prayers today. God bless you.

That's wonderful that you are praying the LOTH. I was praying morning and evening prayers (Shorter Christian Prayer), but haven't even been doing that lately. I need to start again. See what an inspiration you are!
CADBURY???? Rob loves the "fruit and nut" Cadbury bars.
I love Hershey's, personally. And if it has nuts in it, the better.
I want to let you know that I have awarded you along with 7 others, the "Lovey Award"!
I'm so glad the little parcel arrived safely. How lovely that your son's fave is the crunchie bar! I like them too...they are gorgeous when you let chunks of it just melt in your mouth...but they have a habit of sticking to teeth something awful! LOL!
Thanks again, Deb! I enjoyed the fudgie this AM. :-)
