Where We'll Worship Christmas Eve

I feel truly blessed to live so close to a place that is so beautiful on many levels. If you are ever in D.C., I highly recommend the 3-5 hours visit to this National Shrine: The Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception.
This will be our first Christmas celebrated at the Shrine. I can't wait! I hope it isn't our last, but you never know, so we are going this year (because we are moving to Hawaii in the Spring). I know it will be beautiful and breathtaking. I've been to a dozen Masses here, in the Upper and Lower Churches. Gorgeous. There are always priests and sisters in the pews, too. Everything about this Church brings you closer to God. And, isn't that the point?
My dear readers: A very Merry and blessed Christmas to you all.

T'was beautiful, of course. The wee ones are in bed, we are headed there . . . it won't be long and the wee ones will be going bonkers with the goodies we just placed under the tree. Merry Christmas - peace be with you. - Sarah
