Wow! I forgot to mention this, but I have to now that I remember. Friends of ours sent their kids over yesterday to play Santa to us. A gift package of Starbucks coffee mugs and samplers of Starbucks goodies and a canister of de-lish (and I mean DE LISH) chocolate truffles. Oy boy, they are so yummy!
I am so hyper caffeinated and chocolated that I have a perpetual smile of bliss on my face. We all know the acne will follow, but the pure love of this . . . no words.
So, to my darling Joyce and her family: THANK YOU so very much for your kindness in remembering us this Season and for always being so awesome in your devotion to others in our parish family community. Your time and talents and friendship is such a blessing to us and to all who know you. LOVE YOU BUNCHES AND BUNCHES!!

lol I laughed out loud at caffeinated and chocolated putting a perpetual smile on your face. I will have to try that and drink a heap of coffee.
Happy New Year Sarah. I am so glad I have come to know you this year and look forward to more laughs from you next year.
How sweet. What a nice gift. I'm salivating over the thought of the chocolate. Mmmm.
Nice to have such good friends, my mouth is also tasting that chocolate through the blog world!
Forgot to say about your bright sun day in last post, is there snow there? There's a lot of snow here now and the sun is shining and it is SOOOOO bright when that sun shines on the snow!
Therese - happy to oblige in the laugher; just don't choke. Yes, heaps of coffee and chocolate tend to do that, but listen: it's 11:18 and I just JUST got out of bed. The CRASH really was awful.
Rosemary - want some? I have tons of it. Another neighbour brought over a packet of crunchy chocolate coated cookies when returning my pie plate last night. I think the cookies are German, but . . . again, I think I'm going to break my scale if I stand on it any time soon.
Jamie - good friends and good books and good coffee - and yeah, and good liturgy: keys to happier living. No, no snow - it was just bright. Today, the wind is kicking up and it's bright. I could only imagine if there were snow reflecting it.
