T'is Been A Lovely Day . . .

I have to say that not often do "award" posts bring comments of any sort, and, since I threw out the "visiting tracker" I haven't a clue as to who has come by today. Bother! I shouldn't care, but I do, because: well, I really want you to enjoy yourself when you come by - not slam your fist into the cookie barrel and scream at the screen and say, "Jaysas, Sarah, we know you can do better than that fer a post!" And, I readily agree.

I try not to disappoint, but some of the time I am a complete and bloody bore. It can't be helped. Like today. It was splendid in so many ways and yet mundanely so. The sun was up all shiny and fooled me into thinking it was warm - and it was blisteringly cold. Folks, when it dips under 60 I'm done. It was 37 at the highest today. *~shiver~*

I had a short babysitting job today, but it's some cash to keep on hand for those annoying pop-ins at the grocery store. You know the ones: You're leaning in the 'fridge and there's only a cuppa milk in there and you've three mouths to poke cereal into . . . shite . . . off you be running to the shoppette. Oy!

Anyway, so. The girls I watched today went down for naps shortly after I got there. They are all wee princesses, they are. Adorable with their wide eyes and long hair . . . dressing up as princesses while I read them Snow White. Once they were asleep I read Mother Angelica's Pithy book (the new one). I have to recommend this book HIGHLY. It's a nice run through the Scriptures. And, she's just a hoot!

So, that is what made my day so nice. Oh, and the fact that I came home to the two youngest ALIVE. They got their daily school work done without my mother-hen-pecking-them-to-death. I think I should leave for three hours every day if them are the results!!

Anyway, I need to scoot and make dinner, finish laundry, and with any luck, finish reading Mother's book. I'd tell more about it, but I don't want to give any of it's goodness away . . . part of or all of the proceeds go to the Monastery. I am giving it away - to my mum, though. She'll read it and pass it on to her parish library. The good goes around. The only goodness I can give from this book is to keep living the Scriptures. That would please Mother, but would really show God how much I love Him and thank Him for His loving me.

lol Sarah,

Your blog isn't boring, I always feel happy when I have read here and you make me lol.

I hate the cold too. And cannot stand weather under 60.

Jamie - I love the story about Mary and Martha - that story alonen will make parting with the book sorrowful! Maybe I'll keep this one and buy mum her own copy? We'll see. :)

Therese - thanks, love. I'm glad you like coming here. That's the point - have fun here. I always post from my bedroom PC and I'm beside an un-insulated window and boy! I feel the cold air coming in and it's soooooo cold!!!

Well, gee, I haven't visited in awhile, and I come to poke my head in to tell you I've given you an award, and now I see that you already got the same one the other day! LOL! Well, see? Your blogging can't be that boring! Ha ha! It's not boring at all. Well, if you want another butterfly, come on by!
