I must say, now that I am mid-way into book seven of this series by Alexander McCall Smith, I am positively smitten with all of the characters, beginning with Mma Ramotswe to Charlie, the apprentice mechanic. Each story builds upon the other, yet could easily stand alone. Each story is full of morality and good character. I cannot find fault with any of these books thus far. Not that I was necessarily looking. I wasn't. I just happen to notice as I read along whether a book has that certain je ne sais quais. Yeah? So, pop on down to your local library and pull the first book (see the photo above) from the shelf and check it out. This series is the perfect companion to tea (bush, if you like; I prefer English Breakfast - and I'm sure Botswana's wouldn't mind that).

oh yeah, it's a good un!
I'm about 4 or 5 books into it.
Going to the library today. I'm going to look for this!
Renae - you won't be sorry! I love the morality in each story - it's just wonderful stuff. Simple to read, but full of wonderful, cozy tea stuff. I don't know, but I LOVE this series!! Give it a chance, you'll see.
I've read up to number 4. My Goddaughter loves them, and keeps me supplied.
Went to library. Got book 1. Can't wait to get started!
Renae - I await your opinion. :-)
