Please Pray for Us

I found out a few minutes ago that my daddy is being airlifted to a Seattle hospital for chest pains. He has had an heart attack a few years ago that resulted in a stint placement.

This, this on top of a very personal matter I cannot share with you, but suffice it to say: please pray for my daughter and her friends. God knows what I'm asking. I need intercession 'cos Satan is really trying to mess with me.

I STAND FIRM IN CHRIST - let that be a threat to you, Satan. God is my shield and help!

Oh, and Chief is on his way home. Okay, Dawn? Okay. Love you, Dawn! You're the best!

Warrior Prayers

Saint Michael the Archangel,
defend us in battle.
Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray;
and do Thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host -
by the Divine Power of God -
cast into hell, Satan and all the evil spirits,
who roam throughout the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thine intercession was left unaided.

Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of Thy faithful and enkindle in them the fire of Thy love.

The Blogger's Prayer

Lord help me to learn to spell without spellcheck,

manage to visit all that visit me,

and post regularly -
all in 5 minutes a day,

so that I can clean house
and take care of my family.

Help me to not look at every occurrence in my life as a blog post,

and to quit taking pictures of weird things to share as well.

Please Lord, help me to stop talking about my blog friends as though they are next door neighbors or someone I have known all of my life.

And help me dear Lord, to think of something witty and wise to post tomorrow.
