Random Stuff on Thanksgiving

Here's Holly in her jacket (made by Allison).  Isn't it cute?  It's her kimono, we have decided.  I saw Allison's work on one of her posts and emailed her about getting one for Hols.  She really did a bang on job!

I love my Keurig machine.  No doubt about that.  I don't care for the podded teas, though.  I like good old fashioned bagged tea.  However, the Keurig does put out nicely hot water!  This Lady Gray tea came from Dawn.  Thanks, Dawn!

I recently went to register this machine on-line and you know, if you do that when you first get your machine, you can order 2 large boxes and get 2 free, plus no shipping cost - even to Hawaii.  My neighbours, whom I recently met and they kindly embraced me into their mommies weekly coffee, all have a Keurig, too.  It's so nice that everyone can get the flavour coffee they want.  I've been to two of the coffee mornings now and I'll be hosting one soon.  My four boxes will be here by Saturday, I reckon.

My sister called me early last week, I think it was, to tell me she bought herself one since I was raving about it.  I told her that my four boxes were $28.71.  Each box has 24 pods inside.  That means I have a lot of coffee on the way.

I received my Scentsy order (Scentsy is a direct sales company for warmers that plug in and melt scented wax).  I am very pleased.  The October scent is some spiced pear and it smells so good!  I bought other scents that are like mocha, key lime, and pretty in pink (a nice floral/musk).  So, but . . . even though I plan on buying more of this stuff . . . I got an email from Gold Canyon . . . they are havinga free shipping on orders over $100 - even to HI (almost a $50 savings for those of us in HI).  The temptation is INTENSE.  I know I will 'cave' very quickly.  I will need to think very carefully about which scents to 'stock up on' for next Christmas.  I do know that GC candles scents will not go bad in over a year . . . I burned half a jar once, put it away until the next Christmas and it smelled wonderful as if it were brand new.

So, scents is what is on my brain today.

It's Thanksgiving.  There are wonderful smells all day long around here . . . w/out burning candles and melting scented wax!

I'm thankful for my Faith, family, friends, health, and all of you buddies.  May God richly bless you.

Happy Thanksgiving!

You know what? I think I figured it out. I think I worded the measuring part wrong. I meant from neck to the base of the tail, not tip of the tail. Perhaps that's where we got confused ;)

She looks darling anyways!

Good info about the coffee maker...a certain hubby is turning 40 in a couple of weeks, and I was thinking of purchasing this.
